Mint Smilebar in Vancouver

I never write reviews but had such an unfortunate experience with the staff. I booked an appointment for a facial as it showed up as available online. I got an email saying that they wouldn’t be able to take me and asked if I could come earlier. I am totally understanding of booking issues and customers being double booked etc, but the amount of unprofessionalism was boggling to relay this info to me. I texted the number they asked me to confirm my booking to and to reschedule — and let them know I couldn’t come earlier due to being at work, potentially to come later. No response. Emailed back instead, no response. Called a different number that showed on their Google business that differed from the one I was told to text, no response. The communication was seriously lacking, and instead of me simply rebooking, I had to go out of my way to initiate a cancellation so I wouldn’t incur any same-day cancellation fees. All to which I received complete silence on their end. As someone who used to work in a spa, where customer service is something people really value in their overall services and experiences, this was completely unacceptable.

I was a little worried about the location of Mint Smilebar in Vancouver but found it to be very peaceful and quiet when I went for my appointment. The staff I had helping me at the appointment were great and made sure I understood everything and even checked in multiple times. They also were very honest about the process and made recommendations for a better cost alternative. I was worried my teeth would be super sensitive however I didn't feel a thing! Would highly recommend and I love the look of my teeth - for someone who can't keep up with at home strips everyday this is a great option.

Wow! What a difference, just with the entry-level whitening special! Everyone's teeth are unique, and I was able to shade up almost 10 levels! The process was painless. Nice meditation type chairs to relax as the light and whitening solution did their job. In and out in just over an hour. The staff were amazing! No up-sell or pressure, just great, honest service. Highly recommend this service!

I went to mint smile bar twice with my sister to whiten our teeth. My sister is a die-hard vegan and the smilebar offers vegan whitening agents. I was a bit iffy at first, however, I went in and was very impressed with everything. First off, the owner is lovely and professional. She knew exactly was she was doing and was very attentive. Second the results were great, my sister and I had whiter teeth without the sensitivity! It was also so much cheaper than other whitening places, especially dentist offices that just rob you blind. I definitely recommend this place!
