Fuji Beauty Spa in Toronto

I had such a lovely first experience at Fuji Beauty Spa! I was looking for a nail salon near me, and Fuji Beauty Spa came up. Before booking, I reached out to them through Instagram to ask if they could do the nail style I wanted, and they were incredibly friendly and helpful! They gave me clear details and an approximate cost, which helped a lot. Booking my appointment through their website was super easy and seamless. When I arrived, I was greeted so warmly by the staff, and they even made me a lovely lemon tea that honestly gave me a boost on such a dark, snowy day ❄️🍵🫶 It was such a nice touch and immediately made me feel welcomed 😊 Kelsey, who did my nails, got started right away and asked thoughtful questions to make sure she fully understood what I wanted. I mentioned that I’m getting these nails done for a dance performance, and she kept that in mind throughout the entire process; making sure they were both beautiful and practical. I really appreciated how much care she took with my nails, especially after I shared that nail health was important to me. On top of that, Kelsey was so lovely to chat with, and I felt very comfortable and welcomed the entire time. She’s incredibly talented and did an amazing job translating my inspo photo into the final design. It turned out beautifully 💕 Thank you so much for the wonderful nail extensions and design! I’m so excited to dance with these 💃✨ I’ll definitely be coming back to see Kelsey again, and I’ll update this review after my performance to see how they hold up! Highly recommend Fuji Beauty Spa 🤍

I absolutely loved my nails! They did such a perfect job and made sure I was happy with every single design. The whole experience was amazing—from the welcoming vibe to the super friendly and talented staff. I felt really taken care of. Highly recommend this place!

I booked the Takara Luxe Manicure with Shellac and absolutely loved it! The service was incredible, and everyone was extremely welcoming and kind. The salon is very pretty, clean, and my tea was delicious 🍵 The manicure felt like a luxury spa experience. My nail artist Jenny was wonderful and so attentive to every detail. She did an amazing job shaping and painting my nails. The massage was very relaxing as well. I will definitely be booking with her again! ❤️

I got Gel X nails with design and blown away as to how well the job was done. The staff were friendly and the attention to detail was incredible. I gave the nail tech a pic of what design I wanted and they did better than the example I showed! The space is also calm, clean, and neat and prices are reasonable. Also, the passionfruit tea they kindly served me was delish! Highly recommend!

I booked the “On-the-Go Glow” manicure + Shellac + French tip design, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet my expectations. While the pastel French tips looked cute at first glance, the attention to detail was lacking. There was a noticeable gap between the shellac polish and the ends of my nails, making it look like the manicure had already grown out — even though I had just gotten it done. Some nails, especially my thumb and point finger, had uneven polish or visible imperfections (as shown in the photos). When I asked the technician to fix the thumb, she told me “you should have checked it before putting it under the light.” I was a bit taken aback — I believe it’s the technician’s job to check the quality before curing, not the customer’s. No one asked me to review the nails before finishing, so I wasn’t given the opportunity to request corrections earlier. Even worse, the service did not include the warm towel wrap or the hand massage that were clearly listed in the package I paid for. These were key parts of why I booked this service in the first place, so skipping them felt dishonest and unprofessional. Given the salon’s 4.9-star rating, I was genuinely surprised by the lack of attention to detail and missing parts of the service. I had expected a much more polished and complete experience. Overall, I appreciate the idea behind the service, but the lack of attention to details and follow-through on what was promised made this visit disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for careful, quality nail work or a relaxing experience that matches what’s advertised.
