25 Celcius Beauty Bar in Toronto

Ok, this place is GREAT- I visited for the first time today, and I was absolutely delighted by the modern, appealing salon, the excellent hygiene practices, and the wonderful staff (who did excellent, clean work). I called to ask for a last-minute appointment for 3 pedicures on a Saturday- no easy feat! They kindly offered us an appointment right at the end of the day, and stayed LATE just to make my special (birthday celebration) request happen. The ladies there couldn't have been more warm, kind, or accommodating- I actually REALLY enjoyed chatting with them, and found the atmosphere so relaxed and pleasant. :) My group loved our time at the salon, and loved our results! I had a male first-time guest, and they went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable- I really appreciated that. I'd also like to note, this was easily the most comfortable and relaxing pedicure I've had in AWHILE- it was like a butterfly was gently grazing my foot, and NOT AT ALL like the grinding, scrubbing, uncomfortable services I've had in the past. The perfect finishing touch was when the staff applied fast-dry oil and wrapped our fresh toes in plastic to protect the polish from socks/shoes- Typically, when I get a pedicure, no matter HOW long I sit and wait for it to dry, I end up with dents/smudges/impressions on the polish from my socks and shoes while I get home. I've never had plastic wrap applied before... and I was thrilled to find out that it WORKED, and my polish remained perfect. :) It was a flawless finish to a flawless service, I was so impressed-! Did I mention the prices are totally reasonable?? Run, don't walk- THANK YOU SO MUCH, Celcius 25!! You guys are awesome, and I can't wait to come back. :)

This place is very clean, and the customer service is excellent. The girls in this place are very attentive to the cleanliness of the place, and are very friendly. Assunta, who did my gel manicure and regular pedicure, was awesome! She took her time, asked what I thought of the color, style of the nails, etc. I did not feel that she was rushing through the process. Even gave me a leg, hand, and shoulder massage! I had to come back a week later, as 2 of my nails started to lift. Assunta, was able to fit me in and redid my 2 nails, as well, as touch up my other nails. What great customer service! I have gone to other places along the Danforth, but what Assunta, and 25 Celsius Beauty Bar offers, is much better! I will be back!

I contracted a really bad case of MRSA here. My life for the last 2 months for me has been hell. I received a partial refund for my troubles and a gift card for future visits that I would never use and didn't except. I was also told I can't handle pain very well when I reported this to the owner. I wish I never got a pedicure here and eyebrow wax here. I have scaring on my face & body. I have also spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on treatments and antibiotics. I have had to go to the ER in the middle of the night twice along with countless Dr Appts. I went when it was very busy, they where cutting corners and I really paid the price for there lack of sanitation.

I've been getting my nails done at this place for 2 years and I never thought about changing professionals. I have a huge love for Nora, one of the professionals at the establishment! From day 1 until today, she has never disappointed me and has always been very careful, helping me take better care of my hands, feet and nails. I recommend this place to all my friends! Furthermore, waxing services with Amanda were never stressful or painful. I love the girls who work there, they are all very nice and fast! I go every 2 weeks and if there’s any problem with my nails, I just call them and they find me a spot to check on my nails. From fast service, PERFECT quality, fair price and wide variety of services. I advice to schedule in advance so you don’t risk not being attended. I always schedule 1 week in advance and they always have a spot available!

Update 10/20/2020: I got a shellac mani by Amanda this visit. I requested a multi color palette and she helped me pick the colours. I LOVE my recent mani, it looks soooooo good! 10/10 I love their excellent happy hour deals on almost every day of the week. I stopped by on a Thursday for a shellac mani and they had a happy hour deal. The nail salon felt safe and the aesthetician Ling wore all her PPE. I’m very happy with my fresh shellac mani, it looks great! I recommend 25 celsius beauty bar.
