Elements Massage - Salmon Creek in Vancouver

Hands down my favorite place to get facials. I tried Elements after getting a gift card for my birthday and I’m so glad I found them! Angelina & Brigid are the absolute best and I look forward to my appointments every month. The product line they use is an amazing quality and I have seen such a difference in my skin. Everyone there is so friendly and the front desk staff are so helpful. Go here if you want an amazing experience!!

Jeff was recommended to me and he did a great massage! I rebooked with him. I asked the front desk on what to expect for actual massage time. It’s about 45-50 minute for a 1 hour massage. I had a 90 minute massage where the actual massage started at 5:15 and ended at 6:25. The 1 hour or 90 minute is the actual appointment time, not the massage time.

Cash is amazing! I am a past dancer and current wanna-be runner, so I’ve seen many massage therapists over the years, and Cash is the best I’ve worked with. He balances muscle recovery/injury prevention perfectly with relaxation, and adds in frequent use of heat after working on a muscle group. Also incredibly kind and makes me feel cared for.

I’m really pretty bummed about this but I’ve given ample chances for this establishment to prove me wrong. I started a membership 4 months ago so I’ve had 4 massages today will probably be my last. Let me say Jen was fantastic and talented and I’m so sad that I won’t get to see her again but I pay $90 + tips a month for massages and some months I pay an extra $20-60 for aromas which is 3 dabs of essential oil on cotton balls and an extra 25 for an “elite” therapist. Mind you I get to my appointments at least 10-15 minutes early every time and I cannot justify the false advertisement of how long these massages are for. I’ll use today as an example; I arrived for my 6:30 appointment at 6:15 I sat in the lobby until 6:30 then was taken back to my room debriefed about my pained areas for 5 minutes then left in the room alone for another 5 minutes to undress and lay on the table the last time I looked at the clock they have in the room it was 6:39 and she was just helping me situate the pillow under my head so I assume we started around 6:40. My “60 minute” session was ended at 7:25. So if I’m not mistaken that’s 45 minutes for $105.00 after a tip. I don’t believe this is the fault of the therapist but I’ve seen another review like this so it sounds like it’s a reoccurring issue. I will be canceling my membership for next month and not using large chain franchise massage services. I’ve had much better luck with small businesses they have to work hard to keep their establishments afloat as a business owner myself I am very disappointed in this place because everyone is so friendly and very talented therapists but highway robbery and false advertisement is no way to make money in this day and age.

Karen is absolutely wonderful and the main reason I come back. She is a light pressure massage therapist that gives the most amazing sweedish massage. She is extremely knowledgeable and has great communication throughout the whole massage. I try not to fall asleep during the massage because I don't want to miss out on the experience! Her massage style has a wonderful flow and she always focuses on the difficult areas of my body. 10/10 one of the best massages I've ever had.
