West Dermatology in Vancouver

It's difficult to write a review about Dr. Sutton and her team at West dermatology, because the ppl and this place have become so important to me. What words will do this place justice? I'm the type that's very cautious. I like to do the research, ask a lot of questions, and deliberate the pros and cons for months. There has been zero pressure here. I've been looked after with patience and kindness, and given science backed / evidence based information, about all the temporary, non-surgical, treatments offered. I deeply appreciate that. For most of my life I felt insecure about my skin without makeup on (I was on Accutane medication as a teenager) and I can't believe that in my middle age I feel more confident about the way I look naturally, than I did in my youth! My family and friends have since started seeing her for treatments too. I'm tempted to write 'this place is the worst!' so I can selfishly keep Dr. Sutton's precious time all to myself hahahaha! Thank you again Dr. sutton, Joanne, Maria, Diane, and everyone at West Dermatology. And see you soon!

I cannot recommend Dr. Sutton and her team enough! Dr. Sutton is the ONLY person I trust with my skin, and the results speak for themselves—I get compliments everywhere I go. On top of a medical grade skincare regimen recommend by her, I’ve done multiple treatments as well. She always takes the time to explain everything clearly beforehand, making sure I feel comfortable and informed. She truly cares about her patients and delivers incredible results. My skin has never looked better, and I’m so grateful to have found such a knowledgeable and skilled dermatologist. If you want a dermatologist who’s professional, thorough, and genuinely invested in your skin’s health, she’s the one to see!

I cannot say enough about Dr. Sutton. She is calm, professional, knowledgeable and her bedside manner is excellent. Her nurses are very kind and gentle and answer all of your questions. I feel very comfortable recommending Dr. Sutton and her expertise. She is wonderful.

With mere medical dermatology unable to treat my stubborn melasma patches for years, I went for a consultation with Dr. Allison Sutton to see if her expert combination of medical and cosmetic dermatology could work its quintessential magic in my case. Magical indeed it turned out to be, and how!!! Just two weeks into my skincare routine, not only was "I" able to see my skin change for the better, but everyone around me - my family, friends, and colleagues - did so as well. Four months down the road, I'm basking in the afterglow of Dr.Sutton's customized treatment and keep receiving compliments left, right and centre about how great my skin looks, and hearing queries about what I have been doing to it. Dr. Sutton did everything to put me at ease from the very beginning ("Don't worry, we're in this together," was her very first sentence to me as she walked into the consultation room.) and I credit her for restoring my self-confidence that had taken a very bad hit during my skin struggles. The entire team at West Dermatology was fabulous as well, patiently answering my questions, responding promptly to my emails, and making me feel welcomed on all my subsequent visits, as they did on my first. I can't thank Dr. Sutton enough and would gladly recommend West Dermatology to anyone who is desperately looking to resolve their skin woes through medical, cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology.

Dr. Sutton is wonderful, warm, and super passionate about dermatology. Her guidance and suggestions about what procedures and products would make the improvements I was seeking were incredible. I am so happy with my results. She is an artist when it comes to filler and botox. Dr. Sutton gives realistic, medically knowledgable advice so the patient can make the best decisions. The whole team at West Dermatology is welcoming and professional, and the office is beautiful, with a great view from the treatment rooms as well! Highly recommend for anyone in Vancouver or traveling there.
