I decided to try a lash lift from watashi studio after a friend recommended Ryoko - her exact words were "she is AMAZING!!" I wasn't sure what to expect because my friend goes for extensions while I prefer a lift, but her lashes looked great so I decided to go ahead. I have had many lash lifts in the past from different techs including both Korean and Chinese style arrangements. My curl retention for lifts is usually 6-9 weeks. I am currently on week 7 and my lashes are still very full and perky despite some expected loss as part of my natural lash cycle. This is by far the prettiest and most long-lasting lash lift I have ever gotten. Looks super natural from the beginning and even as new (straight) lashes grow in. Ryoko's service blew me away. Her studio is clean and comfortable. The space is bright and well-lit. She was quick but THOROUGH and the appointment took the exact amount of time she said it would. You can tell she is very skilled in her craft and really knows what she is doing. I am all for low-maintenance lashes and the immediate results were so good that I bought a package before leaving because I knew I would keep returning in the future. Even now, my lashes remain healthy and well-conditioned without the use of any serum (because I am lazy), so I am confident in the products she uses for her treatments and procedures. If I want to enhance my look for a night out, I just quickly brush on some water-soluble tubing mascara before running out the door. If you're on the fence about trying a lash lift, take the leap and book with watashi studio! Your lashes do NOT fall out more quickly after a lift - it's a myth and if it's done right, there should be no damage to your natural lashes. The whole process was quick and painless and Ryoko took care to make sure I was comfortable throughout. She is very thoughtful in her work and prioritizes the client experience, checking in regularly to make sure you are still doing alright throughout the appointment. Any questions you have, she will address clearly and thoroughly. She really is AMAZING!!!

I recently visited Watashi Studio for my very first eyebrow tattoo, and I decided to try it after reading the phrase, "People’s appearance is 90% of the impression, and 80% of that is determined by your eyebrows." I thought, "Why not give it a go?" I had no knowledge about eyebrows at all, but I chose the Nano brow service here. The process was very thorough. I was given plenty of advice, and we took our time to decide on the shape of my eyebrows with a sketch, which made me feel very comfortable and confident. As for the procedure, I was numbed, so at first, I felt some slight tingling, but the technician adjusted the anesthesia as needed, making sure I was comfortable throughout. The whole process went by quickly. Once it was finished, I noticed that my eyebrows looked fuller, which gave me more eye definition and a boost of confidence. I’ve never really cared much about my eyebrows before, but now I highly recommend this service! If you're someone who is concerned about your eyebrows, definitely give it a try!

Ryoko is the best brow artist in Toronto! I got a microblading few weeks ago. The studio is very clean and She is very gentle. I didn’t feel any pain so she’s totally amazing! I’m excited to come back for my touch up session!
