Spa Le Finlandais in Montreal

Spa Le Finlandais was pure reset. The thermal cycle—soak in a hot pool, quick cold plunge, then rest in a quiet nook by the river—melted all the stress away. I loved the variety of saunas and steam rooms, and the outdoor baths under the pines felt like a mini getaway. Everything was spotless, the atmosphere truly tranquil (silent zones are respected), and the bistro made it easy to linger for hours. Tips: book ahead, bring flip-flops and a water bottle, and give yourself at least 2–3 hours (longer if you add a massage). If you can, go at dusk or in winter—snowflakes + steam = magic.

Amazing spa, they have bunch of different spas and steam-rooms to try out. The place is also super clean, definitely better to arrive as early as possible in the morning, it started to get crowded around noon. You can spend whole day here and still won’t have enough of it. They also have a bunch of hot tea stations which was nice considering the cold weather. The bistro had amazing food.

This place offers many options, so even though it’s meant to be relaxing, it can also be dynamic if you have the whole day to enjoy everything. It’s nice that, despite being quite busy, it was rare for the noise from other people to be bothersome. Some of the saunas could be hotter, as well as a few of the pools, but overall it was a pleasant experience.

My friend celebrated her birthday at Spa Finlandais and we had such a great time! Even though we didn’t arrive together, the receptionist somehow knew I was the guest my friend was waiting for — super attentive! Since it was her birthday, they even offered us complimentary robes, which was such a thoughtful touch. The spa itself is really nice, with so many options and experiences inspired by different cultures. The staff were also really patient and understanding, even when things got a little loud (birthday energy 😅). They still managed to keep everything running smoothly and made us feel welcome the whole time. Thanks to the Spa Finlandais team for the amazing hospitality and helping make my friend’s birthday so special! 💆🏽‍♀️🎉

✨️Beautiful experience✨️ A lot of people recommend me to try this spa location and didn't regret to finally give a try ! It's worth the trip to have a relaxing activity because this location offer several different kind of pool. From Antarctica cold pool to hot sauna, I had the opportunity to try them all during my few hours stay ! It's a clean well maintained place, they always make sure that it's all clean and there is no trash ❤️ I absolutely love the decor there, the beautiful fountains, the mini lake, the furniture / the swimming pool they had to offer and that each pool had different heat/cold 🫶 The food on the other hand, it taste average imo. For the price it costed, it's not something that I feel like it's worth to try. The pokebowl tuna taste ok, portion wise I feel like they weren't so generous barely had any fish or salad which was a bit of a bummer 🥲 The charcuterie plate was good, portion wise was ok 👍 The soup of the day was pretty delicious ❤️then the quiche was yummy, the pizza mageritha taste alright didn't had much cheese/ mostly felt like if I was eating bread than a pizza, the chicken sandwich was great but again wish had a bit more proteins in it 🥲 the salad & couscous was delicious ! Really like it!! 🥗 the tartelette lemon was a such nice light dessert 😋 The coffee, cocktails and tea was great ❤️ However, for the price we paid for , I don't think it's worth it personally. Overall, lovely activity to go at but the food is just average for me (*´･ω･) Will come back again for sure !! Mainly for the sauna & the spa 💧
