Aqua Spa Nuance (formerly Aqua Spa Lyne Giroux) in Montreal

It’s hit or miss for the massages, sometimes they’re great, sometimes it feels like an insecure new-grad straight out of massage school “trying” to do a good job. (Don’t know about their experience, but that’s how it feels). When it’s great it’s great, when it’s not, it’s not. I wish every time I went there for a massage, I would have the peace of mind that it will be competent and the therapist will be confident and therefore relaxed (not transmitting their tension to the customer…)… In other words, I wish there was consistency of quality. I don’t care about the price, I do care about knowing without a doubt that I will always have a relaxing and beneficial moment there. Not wondering and hoping I will. Besides, for presentation, it would be great to have more professional “out of order” signs on the lockers when needed, rather than hand written coloured post-its unevenly placed. This is a big name spa. I would personally want it to look more professional if I helped run it, but that’s just me.

I had a great experience with Virginia. Not only was the massage excellent for my muscles and relieving the tension in my body, but the way she worked on my joints also helped remove all the fatigue I was feeling. The salon was also very clean and the staff were polite and welcoming. I highly recommend trying her services, and I’ll definitely be going back.

It was incredible, I met a therapist for the facial named Rose, and I couldn’t believe it, after so many years and decades of taking facials. I have never had a massage on my face on my neck, the way she did. It was glorious! I totally recommend.

I really love this place! I often go here for a full bikini wax and eyebrows and let just say Sonia knows what she’s doing. She's super nice and has always made me feel super comfortable. After a traumatizing waxing experience else where, I has on the fence on whether or not I would ever get professionally waxed again but Sonia changed my mind completely. She never misses a hair on my body and always leaves me feeling silky smooth and is very professional. I would recommend her to anyone!

I really love this place! Very clean and super calming environment with positive energy. I often go here for a full bikini and a full leg wax. I always go with Sonia. She's super nice and takes her job quite seriously, which I love. She never misses a hair on my body and always leaves me feeling silky smooth. Definitely take her if you are planning on getting professionally waxed!
