First time at Skin Studio. Initially, I could not find the location, but the clinician kindly assisted me over the phone to find it. I got the IPL facial done and it was a relaxing experience. After the treatment, my skin looked brighter. Highly recommend.

I’ve had two Botox appointments at Skin Studio MD and was trying to book a third but the lack of communication and organization has been incredibly frustrating. I’ve had to chase them down for every single appointment I’ve ever booked here. I called and texted numerous times to schedule, and each time the receptionist said she needed to check with the staff and would call me back. She never did. This happened repeatedly, and I had to follow up multiple times through both phone and Instagram DMs just to get a careless response. During my first appointment, we tried one Botox brand to see how I’d respond. At my second visit, the injector asked if I remembered which brand we used last time so we can avoid it for future appointments given how short-lived it lasted for me personally. I didn’t remember the brand and apparently they hadn’t documented it either which is concerning. They ended up injecting me with (hopefully) another brand but we had no guarantee it was not the same brand used previously. That approach felt careless. It gave me the impression that there’s no real attention to patient history, continuity of care, or optimizing results. I’m writing this review because I expected better professionalism and communication from a medical aesthetics clinic. Reaching out for weeks without a single follow-up is unacceptable, and not keeping accurate records of treatments is concerning. I’ve included screenshots of my Instagram DMs for reference.

Personally, I hesitated writing this review because I really did give the benefit of the doubt. I went in for an IV drip appointment back in June and my nurse “Momo” was absolutely amazing, you can tell she was very sweet and genuine. The treatment itself went great and I felt very refreshed afterwards. Momo offered me a great deal on an IV drip bundle—6 sessions for about $661.60—so I decided to purchase it. She told me she would be in Iceland for her honey moon so she told me to book my next appointment the following week after. I called the studio several times to book an appointment, but each time the receptionist said she needed to check with the staff in the back regarding my drip sessions and would call me back with an answer. Unfortunately, she never did, and this happened on multiple occasions Anyways, I gave up trying to book through phone and decided to text Momo’s WhatsApp number that she had given me if I wanted to schedule an appointment with her personally. Turns out the number was actually just the studios number for making appointments and not hers specifically. I didn’t know find out until whoever was on the other end kept referring to Momo as “the doctor.” and how she’s away. Long story short, I assume she kind of fell off the face of earth. I’m writing this review because Skin Studio MD should’ve provided me better customer service in regard to appointment scheduling and communication, especially about what happened to their nurse. I included screenshots of the WhatsApp convo along with proof of treatment while I was getting the IV. *** Final Update: Although there was a delay initially, the team handled the situation professionally and made sure my refund was processed smoothly in the end.

Excellent experience at Skin Studio! The space is modern, clean and welcoming. All of the staff are really nice and knowledgeable. Also mandarin and Cantonese speaking if you prefer. I had the meridian glow facial and the results were instantaneous ✨️ my skin was so dry the whole winter but was miraculously revived in just one hour. Highly recommend coming by and seeing what they can do for your skin concern!

I recently visited Skin Studio for my first consultation, and I was thoroughly impressed. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly, making me feel welcome right from the start. During the consultation, they took the time to understand my needs and budget, recommending treatments tailored to me. The studio itself is impeccably clean and inviting, and the staff genuinely care about their clients' well-being. I opted for the soft wave laser treatment, and although it's early days, I'm already noticing slight improvements. Plus, the free parking at the back adds to the convenience of the experience. I'm looking forward to my next visit and would highly recommend Skin Studio to anyone seeking professional and friendly skincare services.
