Organic Nail Bar in Toronto

Used to my go-to nail salon until the pandemic, I was super excited to come back after so many years but what a disappointment. Shape is okay, except one nail ended up looking up. Cuticle was a disaster after 2-3 days, attaching picture here. Edit: well, cuticle care is part of manicure you offer - kind of wild to disregard it and only focus on nail shape. I personally don't normally have "hangnails" and if you expect your clients to take care of their own cuticle just 2-3 days after visiting your salon, why bother coming there.

I’ve been coming here for 2 years now. Dom has been doing my nails for the last few times and he has done such a good job. He is attentive and detail oriented. I was exceptionally happy with how they turned out this time around. Highly recommend!!

The salon is okay — it really depends on the master you get. I had a great experience before with Don, he does amazing work with biogel. But last time I tried dipping powder with Sofia (if I remember her name right), and unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. She was very nice to take me even though she was about to leave, so I left her a decent tip for that — but the nails turned out terrible. From the start they looked like they’d already grown out a week (she didn’t apply the powder close enough to the skin). One nail cracked after just a few days, and soon the rest started to fall apart. On my photos nails are 2 weeks old.. I really wish I had waited and come back the next day to another master. It ended up being a waste of money and time.

Ricky is honestly the best! Every time I go to him, my nails turn out perfect. He’s super talented, pays attention to every little detail, and always makes sure I leave happy. I’ve been to other techs before, but no one does it like Ricky! Highly recommend 💅✨

Updated 2 stars to 4 stars. The salon called me back and offered to re-do my manicure. I accepted and I was satisfied with the new nail tech. If the quality of the manicure was provided like that in the first place it would been great excellent. I was nearby and needed to get my nails done for my sister’s wedding, so I decided to try this place - it was my first time there. Maybe I got a new girl but my nails were so poorly done. The nails weren’t shaped properly, corners were either missed or chipped, and I didn’t even get a hand massage (but maybe they don’t include that in their manicures, but I got a quick one for my pedicure though).
