Nailology Lounge in Vancouver

I loved the online booking, the technician, and the whole experience. It’s beautiful inside and was a calming environment. I was planning on making this my go to nail salon since I’m new to the area. Unfortunately, five nails chipped within a week (3 chipped within 2 days) and because I called the next day after their “one week” repair policy, I would have to pay almost the whole price for them to repair them. I’m so disappointed because I loved this salon, but I would not recommend going here if you’re wanting gel nails that last more than a couple days.

I was welcomed as a walk in and quickly received service. My boyfriend accompanied me and was kindly treated too. We were both offered a drink and he was offered a seat next to me while I got my nails done. Shayla did my nails and did a great job. She was gentle and didn't over work my nails. She did a beautiful design in a timely manner. I also received a complimentary cuticle oil bottle on my way out which was a nice touch. I was very happy with Nailology Lounge's service.

I’ve been seeing Monica at Nailology for 6 months now and I won’t go anywhere else! I used to hate getting my nails done, it just didn’t feel relaxing or it was hit or miss whether I’d actually like them or be happy with the $ I spent. Not anymore! Monica is so consistent, a perfectionist, and always makes me feel at ease and cared for. My builder gel sets always last 3+ weeks and look amazing! She did this holiday nail set for me today and I’m so in love. Thanks for all you do, Monica! Go see her!!

I have been seeing Monica at Nailology all summer and her work is impeccable! She has a great eye for perfection and takes great pride in her work. My gel builder manicures always last 3+ weeks and look just as impeccable as the day I get them.

I really hate to leave negative reviews, but my experience was so poor that I felt like I needed to post feedback here for others to see. I’ve been to this nail salon a couple times now. This most recent visit was really bad, with my nail tech not listening to what I was asking for nor my concerns throughout the manicure that it was not what I wanted. I had asked for a sheer white with iridescent chrome and was given over nine layers of polish so thick that it’s bumpy and areas and stark white. I shared my concerns about the color a number of times and she told me it was fine and would get better. The polish is pooled heavily around the cuticles on many fingers and toes and she tried to file some of it off after I complained but it still looks terrible. The grow out would be awful. Worse than that, she cut me three different times while trimming my cuticles and proceeded to paint over blood on my nails so it’s now sealed under the polish, and raises concerns about cleanliness. I post this as I sit at another nail salon the next day to go get it redone. I normally try not to complain, but did share my concerns at least a half dozen times during my visit and she kept saying it would get better. Very disappointed and I will not be back.
