Medicart Ottawa Vein and Aesthetic Clinic - Dr. Jason Leclair and Dr. Lucie Beaupré in Ottawa

My experience at Medicart Vein Clinic is somewhat mixed. I have gotten spider vein treatments at this clinic for quite some time and normally it would take one, maybe two appointments to get rid of them. It seems now they limit the amount they do so you need to come back more often. Of course over time the veins come back and I schedule an appointment to address them however during my last visit, I was asked what area bothered me the most (which was the front lower thigh) so they decided to start the treatment on the back of my legs (evidently this meant I would have to schedule a second appointment for the front of my legs). I didn't really address it at the time but when I showed up for my second appointment they said they would address the side of the legs this time around and that I would need to make another appointment for the front. Now I was convinced that they wanted me to come and get more treatments as often as possible to make more $$$. Not sure why they would ask me what area bothered me the most and deal with that area last???? I spoke with the nurse and told her I would prefer the front of my legs done. She disappeared to speak with the doctor and returned looking somewhat upset and said she would do the front but she was obviously avoiding the area that concerned me. There was minimal conversation during the treatment. I am on a limited budget and can't afford to make another appointment which would bring the cost of having my spider veins done at over $600. I am considering finding a clinic that does laser vein removal since I've been told it requires less visits and is more reasonably priced.

Excellent service. My last treatment with Dr White produced the best results. Today’s treatment with Dr White as well as Holly and Amy targeted a number of veins. Was painless. Very professional. Explain the procedures as we go. Professional coaching of student who was excellent in executing her tasks. Thank you to all three professionals for a job well done as well as Chantal, clerk responsible for scheduling and welcoming clients in an effective and timely manner, professional and warm welcome as always. Great experience. They removed many varicose veins from a problem leg and even did some under the surface on my other leg. All the Drs I had were knowledgeable and friendly. My issue was cleared up fast and I'm pleased with the results!

I have been going to this clinic for over 20 plus years, the service is top notch from the front staff to the nurses, to the Drs. When I 1st started my legs were in terrible shape and it's funny because my husband literally said to me on the weekend "your legs are the best they have looked in 26 years" and for him to notice and comment on this, must mean they look fabulous! The front staff are friendly, efficient, organized and always so helpful. The nurses are so friendly, kind, gentle and so educated on the services. The Drs are so accommodating, provide excellent treatment and always so welcoming. Best clinic in Ottawa, highly highly recommend. Thankyou to all of you for the amazing treatment!!
