I have been going to holistic spa since I was in eighth grade (over a decade!) and it has been the best experience ever! The staff is so loving and caring and listen to your needs. I’ve done several self care treatments with the team and they’ve been very professional.

I’ve been with this place since 2016 starting with my eyebrow threading until I was able to start my Under Arms laser hair treatment. Being an African Canadian, I was first nervous how it would react with my skin/4c hair type but I can honestly say the results have been AMAZING. No ingrown hair, started seeing changes within the second appointment. I’ve had booked 6 treatments so far and a lot of good changes. Will book more to be under arms hair free. The staff is also amazing and accommodating as well as the location is also good. I highly recommend to get your laser hair done here!!

Holistic’s staff are incredibly caring, professional, and attentive. From the very first visit, they made sure I felt comfortable and well taken care of, accommodating everything I needed to ensure a great experience. The facilities are modern and very well equipped, and the technology they use for laser treatments is outstanding. I started seeing results from my very first session, which truly exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them, not only for the quality of their services, but also because they offer great promotions and a wide variety of treatments at very competitive prices. An excellent experience overall!

I have been a loyal customer of Holistic Spa in Ajax for over 10 years and have spent a significant amount of money here over the years. Unfortunately, my appointment on Monday, January 26 was so upsetting that I will never be returning. I booked a full body massage, foot massage, and a hydra glow facial, a service I have had many times before at this spa, so I am very familiar with how it is normally done. When I arrived, I was assigned an esthetician I had never seen before. When I asked about my regular provider, the owner assured me this person was just as good, so I agreed to continue. That decision was a mistake. The massage was completely ineffective. There was little to no pressure at all, no technique, and it felt more like random touching than an actual massage. The session felt rushed and ended quickly, leaving me feeling tense, frustrated, and honestly confused as to what I had just paid for. The hydra glow facial was even worse. Despite having had this facial many times before, none of the usual steps or machines were used. My face was barely cleansed, there was no treatment process, and a sheet mask was simply placed on my face with no explanation. I assumed this was part of the service, only to be brushed off shortly after and told the facial was done. I received no results and no actual facial treatment. I raised my concerns with the owner, who asked the esthetician to redo the facial. Unfortunately, this changed absolutely nothing. The esthetician appeared annoyed and again did the bare minimum, lightly touching my face and massaging my head with such minimal pressure that it was pointless. When the owner mentioned that I was a long-time customer, the esthetician responded, “Oh, why didn’t you tell me?”—which was shocking and incredibly unprofessional. Quality of service should never depend on whether someone is a “loyal” customer or not. Even after that comment, the service did not improve in any way. I left feeling angry, disappointed, and completely disrespected, especially after paying a high price for services I essentially did not receive. After more than a decade of loyalty, this experience was unacceptable and extremely discouraging. I am sharing this to be honest and to warn others that the quality and consistency of service at this spa has seriously declined.

My facial at Holistic Spa truly exceeded my expectations. Tina and her staff were absolutely amazing from start to finish. The space was welcoming, calming, and professional, and I felt completely relaxed the moment I walked in. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, taking the time to understand my skin and explain each step of the treatment. My skin felt refreshed, glowing, and deeply nourished afterward — I could see and feel the difference immediately. I highly recommend Holistic Spa to anyone looking for high-quality skincare and exceptional service. I will definitely be returning!
