Haven Wellness in Toronto

I’m taking one star away for a specific reason. I visited Haven Wellness yesterday because it’s close to home, and I was in a lot of pain after spraining my neck and shoulder. I booked a 1-hour massage therapy session, and while I won’t name the therapist, she did a wonderful job — very skilled and professional. However, I was surprised that my actual massage lasted only 50 minutes. When I asked, I was told that the consultation time is included in the 1-hour session. I found that disappointing, as I’ve never experienced this before at other massage places — the consultation has always been separate from the treatment time. I also brought it up at the reception, and the staff member (who was very polite and new) said she’d check and get back to me. I’m still waiting for a response and hoping the management can clarify this policy for future clients. I’m taking 1 more star away, as I’m not satisfied by the response I received, not going back here again - Thank you to the owner, for clarifying, but I’d like to share my perspective as someone who’s received massage therapy at several well-established clinics across downtown Toronto. In all my experiences, consultation and treatment have always been treated as two distinct components — consultation is done everywhere before the massage starts , without cutting significantly into hands-on time. I completely understand the CMTO’s requirement for an initial assessment, but it’s typically not meant to shorten the therapeutic portion of a booked 60-minute massage to 50 minutes (or less). Consultation, changing time, and setup are part of the overall client care experience, not a reason to reduce treatment time so noticeably. It would be great if Haven could make this distinction clearer when clients book appointments.

Just had an RMT appt with Yujeong yesterday evening and it was lovely! First off the clinic is very clean, warm, and welcoming. The check-in process is seamless and I love the online portal. Yujeong had the cutest acoustic Disney playlist in the background and that made me really relax and feel happy. She had a wide range of pressures which really helped me since I was in a great deal of pain in specific areas. There were a handful of techniques she used that helped provide immense relief to my back and leg muscles. Overall, I would recommend Yujeong to anyone who's looking for an RMT who is excellent at communicating and provides top tier relaxing experience.

I've been having sessions with Curtis Larade for over a month now. Curtis is very friendly and personable. I really see his compassion and dedication to the field, which makes it so easy to talk to him and build a meaningful connection. I also appreciate that he offers the flexibility to do in-person and online appointments. The clinic itself is beautiful; a really comfortable and accessible space. It's easy to book appointments online and the front desk staff has always been very helpful and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend Haven Wellness to others!

I had a fantastic massage with Lauren at Haven Wellness. She was professional, attentive, and really listened to what my body needed. I left feeling so much better — relaxed, grounded, and with noticeably less tension. The space itself is also beautiful and welcoming, with a calming vibe that makes you feel at ease the moment you walk in. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Lauren if you’re looking for a skilled and caring RMT!

I had an incredible full-body massage with Lauren. She’s a highly skilled RMT who tailors treatment based on your history. What truly stood out was her energy—calm, positive, and genuinely healing. The clinic was spotless, and the fresh-smelling sheets added a level of comfort that’s often overlooked. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!
