Dr. Lawrence Tong: Yorkville Institute of Plastic Surgery in Toronto

I’ve been meaning to post a review for quite some time regarding chin and neck liposuction I had done by Dr.Tong in 2023. The decision to have a small procedure with Dr. Tong was the best decision I made for myself. It was a small tweak to excess fat under my chin (genetic) and it made a huge difference to my overall image. Dr. Tong was incredible - he was empathic, understanding and incredibly professional. The process leading up to the surgery was smooth and the surgery itself was quick, easy and completely painless. I had mild sedation (not fully put under) and I vividly remember Dr. Tong and his team checking in on me during the procedure, ensuring I was doing ok as he worked his magic. A few years later and my results are still incredible. I have referred all my friends to Dr. Tong and will only consider him for future enhancements.

Dr. Tong has been incredibly kind to me from the very first consultation. He never pressured me into any procedures; instead, he took the time to ensure I felt completely comfortable and informed. I felt very calm and safe under his care throughout the entire process. If I’m being honest, his entire staff has been amazing too. I had my abdominoplasty surgery with Dr. Tong in January 2024, and after two years, I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Due to hormonal and age related changes, I was developing central obesity and felt discouraged despite my efforts. I chose Dr. Tong, and he did an incredible job. My recovery was smooth, and the results have been long-lasting. I went from a size 14 to a size 8 immediately after surgery, and the improvement in my confidence has been life-changing. Dr tong did my asian bleph and i couldnt be more happier with the results. It has been one year post op and him and his ensured post op checkups throughout the year making sure all is still good. His work is incredibly precision, he nailed down the symmetry and the crease height. I absolutely love how it turned out. I wouldnt change anything about my result. He knew what i wanted and got it spot on. Ive been to consultations before to find the perfect surgeon and everyone else in the GTA gave me some sort of uncertainty but dr Tongs knowledge and willingness to work with what i wanted (instead of suggesting what HE thought would look good on me disregarding my preferences like the other surgeons did) made me confident to go with him. His team is also great to work with, such kind ladies and understanding when i was late for my surgery. Thank you Dr Tong for your precision work, i would trust you with everything at this point. I honestly don’t have enough words to describe how exceptional my entire experience with Dr. Tong and his team has been, from the very first consultation to my most recent follow-up.
