After years of searching for a truly holistic skincare clinic, I finally discovered Connected Health & Skin, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Dr. Jen Newell met me exactly where I was with my skincare concerns and supported me through a very vulnerable time. With so much information—and misinformation—out there, Jen’s experience, strategic approach, and thoughtful, sound advice were incredibly reassuring. I especially appreciated the ongoing support and her prompt, attentive responses to any questions or concerns I had. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely follows up the way she does. The service and products they offer are excellent, and I truly value that they only recommend what you actually need, without any pressure to upsell. The clinic itself is also beautiful, with a calm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. I still have a journey ahead to fully reach my skincare goals, and I’m looking forward to continuing this partnership with Connected Health and skin staff.

I was told about Connected Health from a friend. I was struggling with acne for the first time in my life (am in my late 30s). I had tried various products and nothing seemed to help. I booked appointments with Jen (naturopath) and Felicia (facialist). Jen suggested some vitamins and supplements. Felicia recommended specific cleanser, serum, moisturizer and exfoliator. I followed up with them after 6 weeks and then again after a following 6 weeks. I am now acne free! :-) highly recommend !!

I first reached out to Dr. Jen Newell in 2017 during an incredibly stressful period of my life. I had just gone through a breakup, relocated across the country, moved into a new apartment, started a demanding new job with frequent travel, and had multiple projects on the go. At the time, I didn’t fully realize how much all these changes were impacting my body—until one night, while traveling for work, my face broke out in painful, boil-like acne. It was unlike anything I had ever experienced, even during my teenage years. Desperate for relief, I tried countless expensive skincare products with little lasting success. I also visited a dermatologist who prescribed a topical ointment, warning that it would likely make things worse before improving. Naturally, I wasn’t eager to go down that road. Through online research, I discovered Dr. Jen Newell’s naturopathic practice, which emphasizes a holistic approach to skin health. After just a few visits involving targeted treatments like enzyme peels and microneedling, my skin returned to normal—and looked better than ever. Dr. Newell is exceptionally knowledgeable and committed to staying current with the latest research in holistic skincare. Aside from the pandemic years, I’ve continued to see her regularly—once or twice a year—for microneedling maintenance. I’m also excited to try Aerolase for my hyperpigmentation in the near future. After years of trying various band-aid treatments for my acne with little success, a friend suggested I see Dr. Newell. She's taken a holistic approach to understand all contributing factors to my health, from skincare to supplements (and lifestyle improvements that are actually reasonable). What really impressed me is that she was able to identify underlying factors affecting my health before even my GP had answers. I’ve finally felt like I’m addressing the root cause instead of just covering up symptoms. Cannot recommend enough!
