I had a cyst on my head that had been bothering me for years. I did the online application and had an email response back quickly. I sent them photos of the cyst. They made an appointment for me within 2 weeks and gave me very detailed information on the procedure. The office is lovely, ample parking and a nice receptionist. The whole procedure took 10 minutes from the time I entered the room to leaving. They didn't even have to shave my head. The assistant was friendly and helpful and the doctor was efficient. I highly recommend The Centre for Minor Surgery.

Awesome experience at The CMS! The process was so smooth and easy from intake to meeting the doctor and getting it all done. Gail and Nala were caring and understanding, making me feel I was at the right place. Dr. Backstein was outstanding. Procedures were painless and uneventful. I had a lipoma removed at The Centre For Minor Surgery and honestly had a great experience. Everyone there was super friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. The place is clean and really well organized. My surgeon walked me through everything, answered all my questions, and the procedure was quick and way easier than I expected. Recovery has been smooth and the result looks great. Definitely recommend them if you need anything minor done!

One week post repairing my stretched ear piercings on my earlobe. Leading up to the procedure, I had lots of questions and concerns and each was handled very professionally and quickly. On the day of the procedure, both Gail at the front desk and Nala (Dr Backsteins assistant) were wonderful. They made me feel welcome and at ease. Dr. Robert Backstein was warm, easy to talk to and explained the procedure before he began. From start to finish, I wasnt in any pain (other than a little from the needle for local freezing). Nala bandaged my ears when Dr Backstein had completed the procedure and went over post procedure instructions which I have been following. I return in a week to have the stitches removed. For the most part there has been minimal discomfort and from what I can tell (there are still steri strips covering the area), it appears to be healing well. I had deliberated doing this procedure for a long time and even though there were other cosmetic surgeons who were less expensive, I opted to go with Dr Backstein because of his experience with minor cosmetic surgery. I'm glad I did.
