Attention Curly Girls: Visited Bay Street Salon & Spa, in Embrun, today for a cut with Dawn; was seeking correction for a bad curly Bob cut, and was so impressed with Dawn's knowledge and confidence in cutting my hair! She studied and worked on my hair dry first, then washed and styled and corrected some more. I couldn't be happier with the results! Also, the salon has a relaxing ambience -- the music wasn't too loud for example. I highly recommend Dawn!

I had the most incredible experience Signature facial at The Best You and I’m still glowing days later! The office atmosphere was very calming and beautifully designed. Lisa was amazing! She took the time to understand my skin concerns before customizing the treatment. The Venus eye treatment was absolutely amazing! I can honestly say this was one of the best spa experiences I’ve had! Highly recommend!

After wasting a lot of money on failed laser hair removal at another clinic, I came to The Best You for a consultation feeling defeated and skeptical of the process. The staff really took the time to explain the way their laser works, how to get the benefits for my skin tone and hair texture (dark skin with course hair), & what to expect out of the process. We did a patch test and I could immediately tell the difference, waited a few weeks before committing to see how the hair grew back. When that section was still bare after a month I scheduled my first session. Fast forward, I’ve had 6 sessions for my underarms and Brazilian & am soooooo happy with my choice to come here. There are large areas where hair doesn’t grow at all between sessions. Any hair that does grow back is a heck of a lot finer than when I first started. My only regret is not finding it earlier. On a pain scale I can’t say it’s completely painless, you do feel it but it’s nothing unbearable. Best way to describe it is it feels like someone snapped an elastic band on you, but the sting lasts maybe 3 seconds. Some areas I genuinely don’t feel anything but that only started happening after a few sessions. The worst part is always closest to the centre (if you know what I mean). Also huge shout out to Lisa, that’s my girl. Always takes care of me and makes the entire process so enjoyable. (Give her a raise!) But seriously she’s the best. 10/10 well worth the price. Will look to do my legs next!

The Best You is a relaxation oasis! This place has been my regular go-to for 15 years! Lisa and Dianna are fantastic and caring and truly care about their clients ❤️. They curate treatments to your specific skin type and those treatments are first class. If you are looking for first class skin care give The Best You west-end Ottawa a try, you will be pleased you did.
