TLDR: I went twice for several waxing services and both times the aestheticians missed large patches of hair. I do not recommend this location. Detailed review: I have visited this spa twice now for body waxing and unfortunately both times I experienced the same issue of an incomplete service. I want to start off by saying every aesthetician I’ve encountered here has been kind and professional - which is always appreciated. On my first visit last year, large areas of hair were missed and I had to return later the same day for a senior aesthetician to fix it. Despite that, I decided to give the spa another chance this year and rebooked with the senior aesthetician who had done a great job remedying the issue. After booking the second time, I later received a text saying she was away and that I’d need to be booked with someone else. I asked to cancel the appointment, however I was assured it would be with another senior staff member and that it would go well. I was also offered 20% off my services, which I greatly appreciated. The aesthetician I saw this time was kind and professional, but once again, many patches were missed (hands, bikini, bum cheeks, and legs). My appointment ended about 30 minutes earlier than scheduled, so there was no reason for the service to be incomplete. I was also not provided a hand mirror, so I couldn’t check areas like the bikini line/backside while in the spa - and I don’t believe that should fall to the client anyway. Quality control should be the responsibility of the service provider. While I understand it can sometimes be difficult to see if lighting is poor, it’s their role to ensure they can clearly see and remove all leftover hair. I even pointed out one visible area during the service, and although the aesthetician went back over it, there was still plenty of hair left afterwards. To make matters worse, the spa forgot to apply the 20% discount when I cashed out. They later e-transferred me the difference after I reached out, but they did not offer any compensation for the poor quality of service. The manager’s reply also came across as dismissive and placed responsibility on me to “double check” the work. The last message I sent to the manager explaining my experience and disappointment was left unanswered. For an expensive service, it was very frustrating to come home and have to rewax and shave before leaving on vacation. Overall, it’s really disheartening to spend a lot of money on an elective service and feel that the time and care weren’t taken. I can’t in good faith recommend this location for waxing services.

My first visit to Sugarmoon and I'll be back! I had facial sugaring hair removal and eyebrow shaping & tinting. Keesha did an amazing job. She was very professional and efficient, with a lovely personality. Linda was also very professional and welcoming. Thank you for an amazing experience!

I have been getting my legs waxed for years now, and I can say that this was by far the least painful wax I have experienced. The woman was very thorough and did not rush. Even then, I was in and out in under half an hour. I will 100% be coming back.
