Skinjectables in Toronto

I had a disappointing experience with dysport here and ended up needing treatment one month later with a doctor at another clinic. But this is not why I’m giving them this review. I’ve always received similar units, including at this clinic last year, yet my results were completely ineffective this time, even with extra units added. I came back a week later because it wasn’t kicking in by days 3-5 like usual and I knew something was off. I got another area treated and an early touch-up because I was temporarily leaving the country. Weeks later, the results were still very poor, and when I kindly reached out to understand what went wrong, the explanations kept shifting. First it was underdosing, then it was that I didn’t come in exactly at two weeks, then that my goals weren’t clear. It felt like every policy was being used to deflect rather than address the situation. I couldn’t come back at two weeks, but even if I did, it wasn’t just a regular “touch up”, something went seriously wrong. The final straw was when they twisted my words regarding something I said in my appointment to further deflect the issue. After speaking with my doctor today, I recognize there is no valid reason for having results this ineffective given the units, my history, my careful post-Dysport care, coming back a week later with valid concerns and full muscle activity, and then receiving such a poor response from Skinjectables. Their blame-shifting and liability-proof stance was disappointing. For this reason, they’ve lost me, my family members, and my friends as clients.

While the work at this clinic is good, I will not be returning after doing some research. I encourage others to look into the Doctor at this clinic for themselves and decide if this is the kind of clinic they feel comfortable supporting.

I recently visited Skinjectables for the first time and was impressed from start to finish. Their prompt and professional email communication made booking easy, and the clinic itself is beautiful - spotless, modern, and welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, taking the time to walk me through everything and answer all my questions without rushing. I felt completely at ease and confident in their care. I called this clinic to book an appointment and they required me to provide my credit card number and CVV verbally or over email ahead of the time, I am not sure how other people are comfortable doing this but it’s not secure to provide this level of information in an insecure manner, other clinics may have the same policy however they provide a secure platform for exchanging those information if if they don’t that’s a flaw in their operation model They were responsive
