I had both a facial and a full body laser hair removal treatment and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The salon is super clean, welcoming, and relaxing. The facial left my skin glowing, refreshed, and so soft. As for the laser hair removal, the results are amazing, the treatment was quick, almost painless, and I can already see a huge difference after just a few sessions. I highly recommend this place if you want great results in a calm, friendly atmosphere.

Horrible experience, i do not recommend. I did microshading with Amal a year and a half ago (now that I have had better work done to compare with I am writing this review). I remember she took hardly 10 minutes to outline my brows without measurement!! It felt super rushed and I did not feel like I mattered as a client, whereas the other place took 45 minutes until they were perfect. The tattooing part was extremely painful, which I now know was not normal and because she was tattooing too deep. They then got infected a few days after the procedure and ruined my face for weeks (pic 1). Once healed, the shape was not what I wanted at all because I felt like she was rushing, they were uneven (pic 2) and the color was way too light and turned orange after a few months (see 3rd picture). Even fully healed, I filled them in everyday with makeup and changed the shape. On top of everything the price was way more expensive than most brow techs in Montreal. After a year and a half I decided to get them redone to cover up this work and correct the color for almost HALF the price and the work was amazing. In sum, I did not feel cared for as a client here at Institute Amal, the consultation and procedure felt rushed, and no attention was given to the shape I wanted to do. And incorrect pigments were used for my skin color and skin type.
