I've been coming to see Olesea for my eyelash extensions almost every couple of weeks for over six years. When I moved from New York City where I had an eyelash tech whom I had grown to like very much, the search for her replacement in Montreal was not an easy task. I went to several different people and received several "styles" of extensions that were either like solid bricks of babydoll lashes, or fell out in under a week. When I came upon Olesea, I had started to lose hope (I'm pretty attached to my eyelash extensions). But from the very first time I saw her, she listened carefully to what I wanted and needed (I swim laps for extended periods of time seven days a week making maintaining hold is especially difficult) and she applied a very full set with obvious experience and understanding, while keeping the outcome I was looking for in mind. And since that first application, over the years, she has tried various materials and methods, actually thinking over what I might need while she was not working, and she's figured out the method necessary to create full, natural, but bold, long lasting, in my opinion, perfect sets of eyelashes. I am certain of what I will get from Olesea every time I come to her. So much so that even though I live part-time in New York again, I make sure to fit in the multiple hours drive to Montreal in order to see her. It may be a bit extreme, but in Olesea I have found the go-to reliable eyelash extension person, as well as a kind and funny friend, and the relief and confidence boost I get from a session with her is well worth any time I need to put in to get to her. This salon needs to full clean up the dusty environment. I booked pedicure service at this salon as first time today. When I arrived to the reception and sat on the waiting bench, I regret to book this salon already. The bench was so worn out and dirty, and after that, I noticed that most of the chairs for customers in the store were in the almost same condition: worn out and very dirty, with a hole on my seating chair. The staff chair was also dingy and unclean. The drawers in the store was also covered in dust, and there was a cotton on the floor, but no one seemed to care, and the staff who had free time was looking at her cell phone at the counter in the back. Furthermore, the nail technician left the LED nail lamp directly on the floor when she didn't use. The paraffin treatment was sloppy and painful and lacking of noticeable in their customer service. The LED lamps were placed haphazardly on the towel rack at the back, and I saw lots of dusts. I seriously doubt that the salon is cleaned regularly, especially before opening and after closing. A beauty salon must maintain the cleanliness and hygiene, given that they work with customers' body. Nails, hands and legs. In the end, the nail color was at least beautiful and the finish was fine, but will never go back.
