Nova Line Permanent Cosmetics in Toronto

I did permanent lip makeup for the first time on September 22 and I leave my review today on November 20th, pretty much two months later. I got a lip liner/ombre look for more definition and symmetry. I figured, since I'm always lining my lips, might as well do this procedure I've been wanting for years. And since I got this procedure done, I've just been wearing lip balm and lip gloss/ lip sunscreen. Occasionally I still line my lips but I don't really need to. I'm mostly happy and satisfied with my results and glad I went through with the procedure. It looks really natural and you'd never know it's permanent makeup. I hope it truly lasts me at least a few years and does not completely fade away. She is thorough and takes her time with coloring/shading and outline the way you ask. She also said that touch up is not required and does depend on how well the color takes to your skin and if it fades faster, etc so I appreciate the honesty there. The procedure is a smooth process. Once the outlining is done, she numbs your lips and begins the permanent makeup process. At some points, the numbing effect might fade and you'll start to feel some pain or discomfort. Then she will add more numbing cream, wait a bit then continue. After the procedure, I was instructed to use the healing ointment I was given me for the first five days. It's the same one tattoo artists give me for aftercare so I am very familiar with it. After that, I could start using my own balm. During healing (and afterwards if you like), I recommend you look into Aquaphor balm stick, which I got on Amazon, as well as Nivea Soleil spf sunscreen lip balm, also found on Amazon. I confirmed if I could use these before I scheduled my procedure. I think the aftercare does help with healing and color retention. However, I have noticed that everytime I shower, the steam, heat or just water touching my lips in general causes them to peel more often than before I got permanent makeup. I usually try to tuck my lips in when washing my face or showering but here is a TIP: Before your face or lips come into contact with water, especially warm or hot, use some lip balm (such as Aquaphor) first as a protective barrier so that your lips don't easily peel as much. I believe you can use Vaseline as well. It's a nice extra barrier. And try not to pick at your lips when it does peel. I've learned these things along the way. Hopefully the peeling does not make the color fade faster, that's my one worry. I'm considering doing a touch up because the right side of my lip still looks a bit assymetrcal compared to the left part, if you look at my photos. The left side looks slightly more overlined which is great, I just need that overline on the right side as well. I've been considering asking her opinion to see if I should get a touch up or not, I'm not quite sure at the moment. Conclusively, permanent makeup is not cheap but it seems to be worth the investment, especially if you go to the right person. Needless to say, I recommend you consult Novaline and inquire about the services. She is skilled at what she does. Do your research, always ask questions, and never be afraid to seek clarification from the professional.

Yelena is an excellent permanent make up artist. Her service is superb and i am well taken care of. She makes sure i am comfortable and she is very polite and professional. My upper permanent eyeliner is very beautiful,I like it and am so happy. The price is affordable. All the best to Yelena.

My mom recently visited Yelena to fix the shape of her tattooed eyebrows, which weren't quite even. She had them done by someone else previously. Superb, highly skilled work. Yelena is very careful in both the preparation and the application. I had eyeliner done on the upper lid and a thinner line on the bottom lid. I returned for a small touch-up after the first session (a perfectly normal occurrence) and then again approximately 4 years later to refresh the ink, though I probably could have waited even longer, that's how well she applied it. I can't recommend her enough.

Yelena is a professional in her field. She doesn't just thoughtlessly give you permanent makeup but ensures it suits your face and features. I got my top and bottom eyeliner done with her and I'm really happy with the result. I did need a touch-up and Yelena was very thorough during the second appointment as well.
