I was referred to Dr. McRae for a breast reduction, and I am very pleased with my results. From the beginning, I felt that he took his time during our appointments to listen to my concerns, and built a surgical plan that gave me my desired results. My surgery was at St Michaels in Toronto, and my surgery day went smoothly and as low-stress as could be. Best bedside mannerism. But beyond the informative and thoughtful consultation, he does impeccable work!! Dr Mark McRae definitely takes pride and care in his work. I feel so well taken care of. He listens, he asks and tries to achieve everything one sets out to achieve. For me that was to reduce as much as possible as I didnt feel my first surgeon 15 years ago listened. Highly recommend!! I had a re reduction and he did an exceptional job which I say was a better job than my first reduction. I healed fast and well also. My thoracic outlet syndrome went away immediately following surgery.

I interviewed 5 different cosmetic surgeons before deciding on McRae Plastic Surgery. I wanted a surgeon who listened to my needs and who was able to undertake a reconstruction rather than just a cosmetic procedure. I knew I had found what I was looking for after my first consultation with Dr. Mark McRae. He listened intently to my needs and then rather than just explaining what he could do for me, he explained the science of my situation and the requirements for my reconstruction. I truly appreciated this. I was treated with care and respect by all the medical personnel, and felt very safe in their hands. The procedure completed by Dr. Mark McRae and his twin brother, Dr. Matthew McRae (how cool is that?!) was exceptional. It was a substantial surgery, and that night at around 9.30pm, I received a text message from Dr. Mark, letting me know that all went well and that I could contact him directly at any time if I had any questions or concerns.
