Laser Clinics Canada - Toronto Union Station in Toronto

I’ve been a customer of Laser Clinics Union for years and the technicians have always been wonderful. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with an admin staff member this week. Last August, I transferred 2 of my 4 areola laser sessions to underarms. After the transfer, there was a system error and my remaining 2 areola sessions disappeared. I called the clinic three times in October and November. Each time, staff told me this seemed to be a system error and that they had left a note for the admin to call me back. I never received a call. This Friday, I spoke with the admin staff member in person. She told me the two sessions were used in September and November. I explained that those were separate sessions I purchased in-store before the transfer. Because the purchase was made in-store a long time ago last year, I no longer have the paper receipt and didn’t receive an email receipt cos they were bought in-store. Despite explaining this and being a long-time customer who has spent thousands of dollars at this store, the admin refused to correct that simple $40 system error. The technicians here are excellent, but the administrative support was extremely disappointing.

I booked a laser treatment appointment online for February 28 and arrived 5 minutes early, but the staff told me they could not find my reservation in the system. After I showed my confirmation email, they said my booking had somehow disappeared and suggested I wait 40 minutes as a walk-in, which defeats the entire purpose of making an appointment. So I rebooked for March 2, and the appointment was confirmed in person and by email before I left the clinic. However, when I returned on March 2 and arrived 10 minutes early, I was told again that there was no record of my booking. Because the staff member that day was different, I had to explain the same situation all over again. In fact, I had to explain it three separate times to different staff members. The manager later told me that their system had gone down, and that staff had called customers to reschedule appointments. According to her, my appointment disappeared because I didn’t answer the phone call. This explanation makes no sense, especially because my appointment had already been confirmed in person at the clinic. First, most people are working during the day and cannot always answer calls (for example around 11 a.m.). Second, if the call wasn’t answered, they could have sent an email, text message, or voicemail. Those methods are far more organized and reliable than simply cancelling someone’s booking. Third, this clinic automatically cancels appointments if a customer is more than 15 minutes late. However, I spent over 30 minutes explaining the situation and waiting because of the clinic’s mistake. If a customer is late by 15 minutes the appointment is cancelled, but when a customer waits more than 15 minutes because of the clinic’s error, what responsibility does the clinic take? On top of that, the manager told me the wait would be 10 minutes at most, but I ended up waiting another 30 minutes. Please do not give customers inaccurate wait times just to make them sit and wait. I also had to visit the clinic twice, wasting my time and transportation costs because of the clinic’s mistake. They offered me free underarm laser if I booked a Brazilian treatment, but I do not need more sessions. Compensation should be based on what the customer actually needs, not on what the clinic wants to promote. This clinic clearly has serious issues with its booking system and customer service. Fix your system. If customers do not answer a phone call, send a text or email instead of deleting their appointments. And when customers experience inconvenience because of the clinic’s mistake, compensation should reflect what the customer actually wants.

My experience started of good and promising and I had a good laser tech in the beginning. However, they don’t seem to be increasing the settings and I don’t seem to be progressing due to that even though I had been responding well to the laser each session with literally no side effects. I know I would be seeing so much more progress if they just increased the settings. Also I recently added a Hollywood Brazilian as part of my package, and they are not through at all. So many missed spots, and unless I keep calling it out they seem happy to skip which is kind of ridiculous considering how much I’m paying

She made me feel comfortable the whole time and explained everything clearly during the consultation. Booking was super easy, and the location is perfect—right at Union Station. Just take the escalator up by Arabica Coffee and it’s right there on your right. I can’t wait to keep going with my sessions and see the results! 🤩 FEBRUARY 19, 2026: I just completed my 6th session of laser hair removal today at Laser Canada Union, and I’m really happy with the results so far! ☺️❤️ Lori did my treatment today, and she was friendly, cheerful, and amazing throughout the whole session. I came in feeling super tired from my shift at work, but she made the experience comfortable and easy. She was professional, attentive, and made sure I was okay the entire time.🥰 During the session with Lori, I even took a little nap in the room as soon as I lay down before we started because I felt so relaxed and calm.😂 In general, all the staff here are nice and friendly. Each visit I’ve had a different technician — Megan, Hanna, Fatima, Ariana, Chiyoma, and Lori — and oh my gosh, they are all amazing! Overall, I’ve noticed a significant improvement after 6 sessions and each session it becomes better. The process has been smooth each time and the staffs are always welcoming, and the clinic is clean and well-organized. 👏🥳💕 One of the best decisions I’ve made! 🫶🙌 Highly recommend Laser Canada Union if you’re considering laser hair removal!
