I have had the pleasure of having an appointment with Vanessa several times. She is lovely to talk to and kind. Her place is very clean. I have been to many electrolysis clinics over the years and Vanessa stands with the best of them. Electrolysis takes time and commitment so enjoying your time with the person doing the work is important and Vanessa is super kind.

I have been seeing Vanessa for over a year and absolutely recommend her services to anyone looking for electrolysis. She is amazing at what she does, very knowledgable and explained how everything works. I feel very comfortable and welcomed. Most of all, I could not be happier with the results. My confidence in myself has gone up so much because of the services and results I received from the electrolysis with Vaneesa! Highly highly recommend if you are considering this.

After struggling with unwanted facial hair for years, I finally took the step to deal with it! After doing lots of research and reading positive reviews about Durham electrolysis, I booked a consultation. I appreciated how Vanessa took the time to explain the whole process with me and answered all my questions. She made me feel comfortable and was not judgmental at all. All of my goals were addressed and I was given a realistic timeline and treatment plan. It was nice having a patch test done at the consultation because this was my first time trying electrolysis. Vanessa’s studio is very clean, organized and welcoming. Since I am a healthcare provider myself, I was so happy to know that her business adheres to strict sanitation and sterilization protocols that are required by Ontario public health. I felt at ease knowing that her business is registered with Region of Durham, and gets inspected randomly. So far, I have had five sessions and have noticed significant less hair. It feels great to have my confidence back, and have a conversation with someone without me thinking that they are staring at my facial hair!

When I made the decision to try electrolysis almost a year ago I was skeptical, but wanted to permanently get rid of my facial hair. I have tried everything and spent a lot of money along the way. From my first interactions, almost a year ago, with Vanessa I felt at ease. I realized how busy she was/is and time with her is in demand. Which I guess means us hormonal women aren’t alone 🫶🏼 Vanessa is professional, knowledgeable, on time and her place is clean. Most of all Vanessa is a great person, makes you feel comfortable and cares about your concerns. She also is very understanding about life…the couple times due to work and family responsibilities I was a bit late and had to reschedule last minute! That has to be annoying for her!! I highly recommend Vanessa / Durham Electrolysis, but please don’t take my spot 😉
