GoogleFalse Advertising and Unprofessional Conduct - Extremely Disappointed I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frankly, outrage, regarding my experience at this clinic on May 18, 2025 for a Sofwave full-face treatment. My initial inquiry via email clearly stated and was confirmed that the full-face treatment would consist of 300 pulses for the price of $1500 CAD (See the attached screenshots of the email exchanged with the clinic). This confirmation was a significant factor in my decision to book an appointment with your clinic. However, the actual treatment I received was shockingly different from what was advertised. The aesthetician abruptly stopped the procedure at a mere 153 pulses – less than half of what I was promised. When I inquired about this significant discrepancy, the aesthetician seemed unsure, stating she was instructed to only administer 150 pulses. This immediately raised serious concerns about the clinic's internal communication and the accuracy of their advertised services. The situation was then handled with further unprofessionalism. The aesthetician left me in the treatment room with ultrasound gel still on my face to fetch a nurse. The nurse's response was far from an apology for the blatant misinformation. Instead, she attempted to justify the drastic reduction in pulses by blaming an error on the front desk staff. She further claimed that 300 pulses could damage the skin, directly contradicting the information I was provided prior to booking and paying for the treatment. It's concerning that the clinic lacked a unified understanding of its services and pricing. My expectation of receiving 300 pulses was not arbitrary. My research into Sofwave treatments indicates that clinics in Taiwan often recommend this number for a full face, and clinics in Korea typically suggest around 200 pulses. This context further emphasizes the significant shortfall in the treatment I received. To rectify this situation, I requested that the clinic honor the service I was promised and paid for by compensating me for the remaining 147 pulses in a future session. This, I believe, was a reasonable and fair request. However, the nurse flatly refused, leaving me feeling completely misled and undervalued as a customer. This experience was not only a waste of my time and money but also demonstrated a severe lack of professionalism and integrity on the part of this clinic. I went in with a clear understanding of the service I would receive based on your own communication, and that promise was unequivocally broken. The subsequent attempt to deflect blame and refuse a reasonable resolution is unacceptable. I cannot recommend this clinic to anyone who values transparency, accurate advertising, and professional customer service. My experience was a bait-and-switch, leaving me with significantly less treatment than I paid for and a deeply negative impression of this establishment. -------------------------------------------------------- Update from 2025/4/28 Booking Error: My appointment, initially unfound, was incorrectly listed under 'Sydney'. No apology was offered for this administrative error. Treatment Scope: Prior to treatment, neither staff informed me the procedure involved fewer than 300 pulses. This is unacceptable, especially as I explicitly stated I expected 300. Lack of informed consent is a primary issue. Pricing: I reject referring to the current pricing guide. The pre-appointment information provided to me, of which I have proof, is the basis for my understanding, not retroactive justifications. These points underscore my original complaint's validity regarding significant administrative and communication failures. Update from 2025/6/25 My credit card company resolved the dispute and confirmed it was the clinic's fault. Ideal Body Clinic Monkland had to cover the complete cost of the treatment. 2025/12/2 Shocked to see the clinic’s false allegations, I’m up here again to attach a solid proof of refund from Amex. Customers beware of the clinic’s dishonest behaviour over a dispute.

GoogleI love ideal body clinic. I have been going for over 12 years for all sorts of services. Veronika is absolutely amazing. What really stands out for me is that she will look at you, as an artist, and tell you what you need to do. I’ve always gone there and just let her work her magic. Prices are always super reasonable. Everyone is always friendly. I couldn’t recommend veronika and her team more.

GoogleMuch more effective that some other places I have been, and well priced. Very kind and nice staff, from the desk forward. They can be very busy, which in my case resulted in a bit of confusion (couldn't find my photos from previous visit), so try to book on off-times and advocate for yourself. That said, I got the impression - for me, it was botox and filler - of superior expertise.

GoogleI had a terrible experience with this company, and would not recommend them. My appointment at the Monkland location of Corps Ideal was on April 23th, 2025 at 1 pm. I was sold a $2K dollar treatment that turned out to be inappropriate for targeting my problem. For that reason, the treatment produced zero results. In addition, it was extremely painful (Softwave therapy) and I was never warned, though later learned through further research this is typical. When I finished the excruciating treatment, one of the staff in the reception area, named Azadeh, said at full volume "we could hear your screams from down here" and whispered to me that I should smoke weed next time. After a person experiences a lot of pain in your establishment, I consider this a vulgar and unprofessional way of treating them. Following that, I was offered a discount of 10% on future treatments if I left a good review. Hence the good reviews this place has. After waiting 3 months and seeing no results, I posted a public review, which they responded to by privately offering me more treatments. I declined-- as given my experience, I would not trust them to administer me more treatments, whether free or discounted. I expressed that for me, the only fair solution would be a refund. But their "resolution process" is not genuine. It consists of reminding you of the consent form you signed, counter attacks and trying to sell you more products at a discounted rate. I was never refunded or further treated. (PS. Beyond all of this-- the facilities are trashy: dirty carpets, messy reception, cramped spaces, mismatching fleece blankets on clinical treatment beds, and for some reason a random display case of party jewelry. Save your money and go to one of the many other esthetic clinics in Montreal, hope this helps :-)
