Canadian Dermatology Centre in Toronto

The doctor we see is amazing, he is kind and helpful. However, they are always running an hour behind and I find it very disrespectful of people's time. I even call ahead to ensure they are on time and am told yes, only to arrive and still wait an hour. This has happened all 4 times I have visited this office.

The scheduled appointment time was not respected. My appointment was set for 11:20 AM, but there was no communication regarding any delay. I waited until 12:25 PM before finally seeing the doctor. When I asked the front desk for an approximate waiting time, I was told that they were not liable to answer that question. This response was unhelpful and unprofessional, leaving me uncertain about how long I would be expected to wait. Patients should not be expected to wait indefinitely without any information. In addition, the service desk staff were rude and dismissive in their interactions. The way they spoke made it feel as though patients were being treated as if the service were being provided as a favor rather than a professional and paid service.

I’ve been going to Canadian Dermatology for a few years now, and Sanja is absolutely wonderful. She made me feel comfortable right away and was so thorough in answering all my questions regarding treatments, as well as products. It’s rare to find someone who is both highly skilled and genuinely caring. I’m very grateful for her help. She is truly the reason why I keep going back!

This place is easy to find and there is plenty of free parking out front. The facility is clean and modern. The front desk staff is good but not great. The doctor I saw was wonderful - he did not rush me, allowed me to ask about an unrelated issue and asked me if I had any questions before I left. My only issue is the wait time - over an hour beyond my scheduled appointment time … I’m not sure how they could be over an hour behind when they’d only opened less than two hours before. It occurs to me, however, that appointments are not really appointments - they are placeholders only. Based on the reviews and the ambivalent attitude of the staff, waiting extended periods of time is the norm here. Otherwise, very good place.

Really great place and the staff is kind and professional and very accommodating. Very clean well maintained place as well. I’ve only seen one doctor there and he’s phenomenal and all the nurses I’ve met on different visits were all very professional and well informed as well. Out of all the appointments and places we visit in this city, this place is a delight, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone in need of their services. Thank you
