Brows Beauty & Beyond in Ottawa

I have been going to this spa for a few years now. One treatment ago I got a Brazilian. It was so bad , I was bruised for days. I literally couldn’t wear underwear because it hurt so much. I asked her to keep a strip, she did not. I didn’t complain at the time because it didn’t seem that there was anyone senior there. Fast forward a few months , I went in for a facial. For $200.00. I have expectations. The person who gave me the facial kept bumping me throughout the process. She squirted product on my face as opposed to applying it. There was no consultation, her “extraction “ was a painful slide down each side of my nose. When I asked if that was all the extraction she was going to do, she said yes I think so. No discussion, there was clearly a need and it was in the description of the facial that I booked. The place was freezing so I asked for a blanket which was a white towel. The clock was this loud clicking clock that was so annoying like a strong faucet drip. The atmosphere was not calm, the service was not as described. Expensive for the lack of professional application and environment, seems like a lack of proper training. I will never go for a wax again, ever. I won’t go for a facial for that price I can go to Brookstreet or Glebe for a much more elevated experience. Too bad.

I always enjoy going to Brows Beauty and Beyond. They are are always welcoming, friendly and professional. Jaspreet is amazing at what she does and I always leave with my eyebrows looking perfect! My most recent appointment I spontaneously decided to get my nails done along with my usual eyebrow waxing and I am beyond impressed with them.
