Last month I got my septum pierced here by Dylan! When I was a teenager, I had a couple face piercings but took them out by the time I was 20 for a “professional job”. Now at 39, the work I do doesn’t care about such silly things and I am finally fulfilling that want. They’re super clean, professional, and friendly. I wanted to go to a slightly higher gauge which was no problem. My only regret was not going bigger -cause now I have to stretch, which is a lot longer process. Thanks again I love it!

I’ve been seeing Jenny for over five years for laser tattoo removal, and I can say without hesitation she is the absolute best. My back piece was extreme, layered, and packed with ink from multiple cover-ups. I honestly didn’t know if it would ever come off, but she got it almost completely gone. The change is unbelievable. Jenny is skilled, consistent, and honest about what to expect. She takes her time, works safely with my skin tone, and never rushes the process. Every session has been professional, calm, and genuinely supportive. She knows what she’s doing, and she cares about her work. If you’re looking for someone who delivers real results, especially with difficult or heavy tattoos, go to Jenny. I’m so grateful I found her. 10 out of 10 in every way.

This is hands down one of, if not the best tattoo removal clinics in the world and my experience with Jenny Ertl wholly reflects that. Craig and the team have a reputation all over the inter-webs for producing the most consistent, fast moving tattoo removal results and they've more than earned it. I had two full color & heavy black forearm sleeves (large Darth Vader, Dragon Ball Z..etc) removed by Jenny over the course of 1.5 years, and I flew all the way from Austin, Texas 6 times to do it. The time spent and travel expense was well worth it, both for the actual tattoo removal progress and the customer experience that came with it. Before taking the plunge and contacting Jenny I was at a point of extreme frustration, I'd already spent 1.5 years doing laser removal in the states with very minimal progress. When I reached out desperate for help Jenny was quick to reply and fit me into her schedule despite being booked solid for months. Jenny would come into the shop hours earlier than her normal schedule to squeeze me in with enough time for me to get back to the airport and fly home. Every time I came in Jenny and the team took such good care of me. They'd do snack and ice runs while I was getting lasered to keep me as comfortable as possible throughout the process. Typically you'd break up this much lasering into multiple sessions because it's a lot of skin and takes a lot of time, but Jenny buckled down and did 2-3 hour long sessions each time so that we could fit everything in without me having to make extra trips. She was cross eyed with a sore back by the end of each session but she kept powering through all on my behalf. Honestly, I'd have paid 5x what they charged me to get the same results, and if anything with the reputation they have the shop could easily charge so much more for their services- but that's not what it's about for them. They genuinely care about helping people and fostering a really special tattoo/piercing community in Kitsilano. I am including some photos to show the vast difference in progress from where my journey started in the states (May, 2022) to where it began and finally ended with Jenny (July, 2023- October, 2024). I did this all with the sole purpose of finishing a traditional Japanese body suit and I am including some photos of that as well so that you can see just how much the tattoos disappeared. They are GONE, never to return. I can't say enough positive things about my laser removal experience with Jenny. She is an incredible, kind, and empathetic human who more than lives up to her reputation as one of the best laser technicians in the world.

I’ve been going to Jenny for tattoo laser removal for five years, and she has been nothing short of incredible. Some of the tattoos I’m getting removed are honestly pretty embarrassing, but Jenny has always made me feel completely comfortable and never judged. She’s fun, open-minded, supportive, and truly knowledgeable about her work. More than anything, she’s helped me reclaim my power and feel at home in my body again. I’m genuinely grateful for everything she’s done — I couldn’t recommend her more.

took my daughter to get her ears pierced at a tattoo shop ( Adrenaline, Kits location) because I had heard they use needles instead of piercing guns, which is said to be better for the ear and would be safer. The staff were friendly, but unfortunately, the experience quickly turned into a nightmare. Right from the start, there were red flags we didn’t recognize at the time. We were told to choose from a variety of starter studs, but none of them were flat-back posts, which are best for healing new piercings, the lack of flatback would later cause issues such as snagging on the pillow and other material. Then, when it came time to mark her ears, the piercer just eyeballed the placement with a marker and asked if we thought it looked right. There were no measurements or checks to make sure the piercings would be symmetrical. Not being experts, we trusted that she knew what she was doing—after all, the shop had plenty of positive reviews. What shocked me most was when she brought out a small handheld device that looked like a modified piercing gun. When I asked if it was a needle, she reassured me that this was what they use and that it was better than a traditional gun. I wanted to believe her, so I went along with it. That decision led to months of problems. My daughter developed an infection almost immediately. The shop’s advice was inconsistent and often made things worse. First, they told us to switch to small gold hoops (which we paid over $100 for). Then, when a painful bump formed on the back of her ear, they told us to change her earrings again—causing even more pain each time. We were also given questionable home remedies, from salt-water dips to, unbelievably, hemorrhoid cream. Nothing worked, and my daughter continued to suffer. What should have been a special, exciting memory for her became stressful and painful. Out of desperation, we finally went to another piercing studio. The difference was like night and day. They explained that my daughter’s skin is very sensitive and her jewelry was causing the problems. They said, she needed titanium flat-back studs—something we had never been offered at the first Adrenaline before. We switched immediately, and the results were incredible: the pain stopped, the redness and bumps went away, and her ears began to heal quickly. Looking back, I realize the jewelry we were sold before wasn’t even true surgical steel, and the advice we were given was completely wrong. This whole experience taught me how important it is to go to a professional piercer who truly understands proper technique and materials. What could have been a wonderful moment for my daughter was ruined, but thankfully, with the right care, she has healed and happy. I would not recommend this place.
