I’ve been a client at accent on beauty since 2017 when I first moved to the glebe. I have always been satisfied with the services I’ve received and have always left happy. Heran does the most relaxing/amazing facials and has an extensive knowledge when it comes to skin care. She has helped me establish the best skincare routine that always delivers the best results. Doreen is also very knowledgeable and friendly and I will continue to recommend accent on beauty to friends /coworkers and family. They are the best!

I visited Accent on Beauty and was served by Doreen on Saturday morning. I can not say enough about the excellence of service I received! The Spa is lovely and I not only got a beautiful manicure, I was offered expert advice which is so incredibly meaningful. I will be a regular here.

Accent on Beauty is a beautiful, spotless day spa. Any time I go there I am taken on time; all staff are excellent. They will ask you what you want and listen to you. All of this makes for a relaxing experience.

Visiting this beautiful facility I thought this would be a great place to get my first bikini wax done with a friend. I was wrong. While there my experience was great and though I anticipated the pain, when we left I was not concerned. After an hour when I said my area was still hot my doctor friend, whose appointment I joined, said that was strange. We inspected and found that several strips of my skin was removed. The next day I returned to Toronto and called Accent on Beauty, they refused to return my money and offered me an in store credit, despite me saying that I did not live in Ottawa. At the time I was calling while waiting at a walk-in clinic and the owner Darlene (?) said that I would have to return to Ottawa to verify that it was her salon's mistake and not something I have done. When I offered to show her a photograph she also said that would not confirm that I did not mutilate my own crotch. I was stunned that this woman would not credit me $30 and implied that I may have intentionally ripped my skin off my body. I am part Asian and my skin scars dark. The effected area is at the seam of my pubic area and my leg and I have had to sit wide legged and lubricated with polysporon to help the skin grown back. This is the complete opposite of the sexy that i thought I would feel and will last way longer than the wax job. After all this, and all I will continue to deal with as I heal and treat my new darkened crease, I was only offered a credit to my account that I cannot even fulfill as I live in Toronto.
