I can’t say enough good things about viva! The atmosphere is always comfortable, clean, and relaxing. I’ve been getting lashes for about 8 years and have tried various lash techs due to moving around the city, but I always end up coming back here because the quality of work and overall experience is just really that good. She works so quickly but still makes my lashes super full and flawless every time. I will say that I’ve also tried various styles over my time there Just for funsies and they’ve literally understood and embodied what I’m looking for every single time, with also being able to appropriately assess my features to ensure I’m getting a look that suits me. Plus retention is literally unmatched, my sets last way longer than anywhere else I’ve been. They are also very accommodating and always do their best to fit me in when I really need an appointment. I always leave feeling confident and happy. Definitely my forever lash tech!

I have given this salon two chances because sometimes the first interaction can be misleading. My first time getting my lashes done, although the work was okay, the experience was so uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I walked in wearing a track suit, they looked me up and down and eye rolls, like I'm getting a service done? I booked a refill for my lashes, and the set I had was not originally theirs. So they assest and replied. Did not remove the previous colour I had the month before? The tech put on a show while she did my lashes, and didn't speak to me the entire time. Okay, not great but let's try again... Oh. My. Gosh. My second time being there was a complete nightmare... My tech was 20 minutes late, she walks in the doors with slippers, sluggish mood, and proceeds to say "why am I here". Awesome, to do my lashes. She examines my lashes and starts to berate me for having older lashes not from there. She explains they don't touch other people's work, when last month the woman right next to us just applied over. As I proceeded to try to explain, she cuts me off and says "like I said before you interrupted" like oh my gosh why do you worl with people? As rhe tech didy lashes, not a single word was spoken from her, but all the other ladies in the salon were gossiping very loudly about other clients, berating them behind their back, and talking very loudly about other personal details. I was extremely uncomfortable, I felt like I had no right to be there, even though I was paying for a service.. With both times I got my lashes done, the next day my right eye both times lost half of their lashes. I tried to give this place a chance, and even a second chance, but after they made me feel so unwelcomed...it's unfortunate that they allow such mistreatment to their clients and expect more to roll in. I'm so sorry ladies, but this is no way to treat people..
