Polish Me Pretty Nails & More in Ottawa

I went to polish me to get a refill a week ago. 4 days go by and I notice that my polish is chipping, so I go back and explain to them that this has never happened to me before. They charged me $40 to get them repainted so I did. Now 2 days later my nail polish is completely falling off AGAIN after I asked them to do multiple coats and let me stay under the dryer longer. Idk if it’s the quality of their polish or a technician issue but I recommend not going here unless you want you nails to last 2 days.

Jenny did amazing job with my nails considering my appointment was an accident (they were actually closed and she came in anyways when I never got their calls about being closed, that's on me!) She was patient, did my pedicure and wax as well. Both were done well and efficiently. So happy to find this place in the neighborhood and will be coming back! Thanks again 🧡

Very disappointed by my visit today. I got my nails done by Tina. Waited for 20 minutes to get seated, which is not even the bad part. The whole process was EXTREMELY rushed, she didn’t prep the nails properly and focused on other people rather than my nails. Additionally, the prices on their website is misleading; I was supposed to get an Acrylic NS with Shellac ($60) and red french tips ($5) with tax. The max it should go is $70-$75 with taxes but tell me why I paid $85 for the SHORTEST possible nails (pictures included)? When I asked why it’s that high she said she did poly gel on me, when she clearly did acrylics; which I had asked. She tried to “bargain” with me saying she’ll bring it down to $75, which with tax was $80. Although I did tip her for her service, prices should not be misleading and randomly changed; it becomes hard on students like me who are trying to get their nails at a fair price. Everytime I look at my nails now I just sighed because $90 for this ain’t it. Please updated the websites prices because they’re clearly wrong. -Nisa

I cannot recommend Polish Me Pretty Nails enough. I’ve been getting my nails done for years at other places, which have been letting me down. A friend of mine let me know about Polish Me Pretty and after two visits, I am absolutely sold. Jenny did my nails both times, and this most recent visit, I gave her complete creative freedom and they turned out phenomenal. These are by far the nicest set of nails that I have ever had. Add to that the serene atmosphere of the salon, the cleanliness, the lovely staff, and you’ve got the perfect nail place. Thank you, Jenny! You are an absolute artist! ❤️

Just want to share my nails. I'm really happy with them. I can't remember my nail tech's name, but she has been so amazing. I wanted something festive, and the cute ribbon was her touch. It really put the look together! I also had a chip on my nail, and she fixed it in 2 seconds. This place is now my go-to nail salon. Thank you! 10/10
