Pacific Derm in Vancouver

Very hard to get in touch with this office. I need to reschedule a dermatology appointment (due to surgery 6 weeks ago) and they do not have a mailbox to leave a message, nor do they respond to emails. And there's a 2 day cancellation policy. So, there are no options for patients. I will find another dermatologist.

They refused to disclose any details on the estimated cost of a procedure, not even a price range, without a consultation meeting that costs 165$ to 315$. What if their price range is completely out of your budget? tough luck because now you're out a couple of hundred dollars on consultation fees for a service you don't want. That feels just dishonest and unprofessional, and luckily not a common practice based on other clinics that I called.

Nameless receptionist(s) are confused pertaining to how to provide a proper professional business email. Proper etiquette, of course, would be to include their name, it is unfortunate that they refuse to provide a more personal touch, therefore 1 star. Dr Rivers is a 5 star person and dermatologist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rivers at Pacific Derm since 2018 and it is truly a comforting feeling as a patient when you have such a knowledgeable and kind healthcare professional by your side. I cannot say enough good things about the level of expertise and professionalism that I have experienced over the years. Especially nowadays, with the abundance of information readily accessible online, it is very nice to have a healthcare professional who can discern between what is and isn't applicable to your specific situation. I never feel rushed during my visits and I always leave feeling like my issue has been addressed. The facility, the staff, everything is world class and I highly recommend anyone looking for a dermatologist to get in to see Dr. Rivers if you can.

I’ve been going to Dr. Richer for years now! I was referred to the clinic originally to laser off moles on my face. They healed so well, you couldn’t even tell I had anything done. I was so happy with the laser mole removal that I’ve been seeing Dr. Richer for all my Botox and filler needs since! His approach is very natural, long lasting, and him and his team are super friendly and transparent about expectations and recommendations. Even though I live across the country now, I still see him twice a year!
