Ottawa Plastic Surgery: Dr. Kirsty Boyd in Ottawa

The doctor is not fixing anything. I had the procedure done, and it turned out very bad. They have no credibility. She keeps saying she will fix what needs to be fixed, but she doesn’t do anything. It has been a year and a half waiting for an appointment, and she is not giving me any date.

Wow!!! I cannot say enough about OPS, especially Dr Kirsty Boyd and her phenomenal team. From the intake coordinators and care specialists, to the anesthesiologist and nurses, I had the absolute BEST experience and have already recommended OPS to friends. As a young teen I had always dreamt of having a breast augmentation, and Dr Boyd and her team made it happen flawlessly. From the time I showed up, pre op to surgery day and now post op, I’ve never felt more comfortable and welcomed. Dr Boyd has even been there to answer silly texts messages after hours and responds almost instantly. Everyone was so understanding, there was zero judgement, and everyone was very kind and genuine. That being said, 12/10 for OPS and their fantastic staff.

The moment I had my consultation with Dr. Boyd I knew she would be my Plastic Surgeon. She was so welcoming and down to earth. She explained the procedures in great detail (making sure I understood) and explained any potential complications, making sure I was making an informed decision. Every time I met with her she was ecstatic to see me and I would feed off her energy. Additionally, every time you walk into the clinic or receive a phone call (I would be greeted by Vanessa, Romeo, or Emily) they are such positive, friendly, and happy people to speak with; it just adds to the most incredible surgical experience. The surgery itself was an AMAZING experience, Dr. Boyd and her staff were so positive and fun to be around. They took great care of me pre & post-surgery. The process was so smooth and flawless, I cannot stop talking about it. All my follow-up appointments have been fantastic. Dr. Boyd is thorough and clearly has a deep passion for her work which can be seen when she speaks to the procedures, assesses you, and most importantly- in her results. I wasn't just another patient with her, I felt like a friend. I couldn't have asked for better results!

Dr.Boyd is outstanding on all fronts. Not only does she have a stellar medical training background, Dr.Boyd is attentive and a genuinely nice person. She addressed all my questions and concerns at my first consultation for a breast lift after having two kids and having nursed for a long time. The surgery was on time and everything went perfectly. Dr. Boyd’s staff is amazing as well, anytime I had any questions, they were promptly addressed. I get everyone has their own takes on after baby bodies, but for me, this was the best decision.

Dr Boyd is magical. She performed my reconstruction and did an incredible job. They look very natural and have no odd "skin folds". She was kind, gentle and very understanding. She explained the whole process in detail, helped me keep my sens of humour and was supportive. She has great ideas on what needs improvements and is a perfectionist. She runs late often but it's because she truly cares for her patients and spends time with them.
