Kōena Spa in Ottawa

WORLD CLASS SPA EXPERIENCE 🌟 Just spent an amazing day at Koena Spa and I'm still on cloud nine! Must-haves to bring: slippers, water bottle, and if you've got a bathrobe, bring it along (or rent one onsite, no biggie). The facilities are top-notch and the staff are super accommodating. LOVE the eucalyptus steam sauna - so refreshing! The cold bucket was TO DIE FOR and the hot tubs were the perfect way to unwind 😌. Hunger pangs? No worries! They have food options from 3 different places to keep you fueled. Overall, Koena Spa is a must-visit for relaxation and rejuvenation. Can't wait to be back!

Always a lovely stop when coming here. Had a beautiful lymphatic massage from Vincent and was very happy with the massage & professionalism through out My treatment. Felt the difference straight away and was very relaxed leaving my massage. Followed up the day with saunas & cold plunge and a little time in the hot pools. Love this place and rate it more than nordik recently.

I love this place! I go usually at least once a week because of the great prices!! It’s so beautiful inside and out and the staff is always lovely. I finally tried the Malama spa upstairs and had a facial. Océanne at the front desk was absolutely lovely and very helpful. Sawsen, who did my facial, was terrific. So professional and my face felt and looked amazing afterwards!!! I’ve truly never had a better facial! My only complaint would be that some guests don’t respect the quiet rule and ruin it for everyone else. The staff do try their best to manage the noise but it’s not always possible.

Great investment if in Ottawa/Gatineau and looking to do some self-care. The day pass is an excellent bargain for all the accesses you get! Everything in these photos is included in the day pass(apart from meals and drinks) Way too many choices on easy ways to unwind. The steam bath was my highlight(picture missing) Didn't even know it was there! Saw it on our way out and had to experience it plus love that they make provision for the salt bath in the steam room. The meals were great and so were the portions sizes for the price. The snacking and drink options were also reasonably priced! Staff were generally great. I felt more at home here despite the smaller venue than at Nordic which felt very formal and structured.

I had just the most amazing experience yesterday. I frequent spas on the regular here in Canada and internationally and so far Quebec spas take the cake. Kōena is beautiful. The staff are friendly. The locker rooms are impeccably clean and I literally have no complaints. There are staff walking around the facility the entire time picking up empty drink containers, and ensuring that everything is clean. That was really nice to see and something that you don't often see at all the spas that you go to. There are staff in the locker rooms making sure that the locker rooms are cleaned. The layout of the facilities are easy to find and easy to navigate. I love how in certain dry sauna areas and steam sauna areas there is an attaching shower for people to essentially water themselves down. The salt scrub was a fabulous bonus in the steam room. I have never experienced that before at a different spa and it was wonderful. I'm not sure if this is on their services list as we didn't have enough time this time to get a service done. However, a full body scrub I feel like would be an incredible edition. Will definitely visit again next time I am in Quebec. Thank you for the wonderful and definitely relaxing experience.
