Clinique d'ophtalmologie Bellevue in Montreal

This clinique made me “Karen-out” for the first time in my life 🥹😂. The manager was quite cordial with me while I was speaking with a very aggressive tone, gotta give credit where it’s due! This being said, the clinique’s management of appointment scheduling is a joke… They’ll stack WAY more than they can take, and you’ll end up waiting for ~2 hours, if you’re lucky… The manager, obviously was trying to “negotiate” a bit; telling me that they can’t predict how long all appointments are, but I’m sorry: if my dentist and the CHUM can (10-20 minutes wait at max), you can too. Google + OpenAI, hurry with the takeover please. It seems that some humans don’t even understand that you CAN book 20 appointments in a day if they usually last ~15 minutes, but you CAN’T book 10 appointments in a day if they usually last ~60 minutes 😭…

TRULY WHEN I WENT THE DOCTOR SEEMED NICE ALTHOUGH I WASNT EXPLAINED MY CONDITION. I JUST REMEMBER HER SAYING YOU HAVE BOTH DISEASES,RATHER SEVERE MGD . GAVE ME A BUNCH OF MED DROPS WITH TREATMENT PLAN. TOLD TO DO IPL. 3+ MONTHS PASSED AND FINALLY GOT A CALL WHILE SUFFERING WITH MY EYES. MISSED THE CALL. I TRIED CALLING BACK NOT 1 BUT 2 TIMES IN THAT WEEK. EITHER TELLS YOU WAIT 50 MINUTES AS LINES OR BUSY OR THEY ARE ON LUNCH SO CALL BACK AT DESIRED TIMES. THEN 2 WEEKS PAST AND THEY CALLED A HOME PHONE NUMBER WHICH DONT REMEMBER GIVING. TRIED CALLING BACK BUT AGAIN MET WITHTHE 45 MINUTE WAITTIME.I HATED THE EXPERIENCED CAUSE I PAID AND TO THIS MOMENT IDONT EVEN KNOW WHAT I HAVE. IS IT ROSACEA, AQUEOUS DEFIENCY,TOTAL ATROPHY,BLEPHARITIS OR THE OTHER 1000 CONDITIONS WITH MGD AND DRY EYE. DIDNT FEEL I WAS ATTENDED TO WITH PROPER DETAILS. YES SHE WAS FRENCH SO WAS TOUGH TO UNDERATAND BUT I TRIED MY BEST. IM SET TO GO TO ANOTHER CLINIC SOON AND PAY AND START ALL OVER. WHATS DONE IS DONE I GUESS.

If you book an appointment at this clinic, keep in mind that the waiting time to see the doctor is at least two hours. The appointment with the doctor itself is not long, but the waiting time is huge. So far, my experience with the doctor has been positive, but the clinic should offer fewer appointments per day in order to respect patients’ time.

I brought my wife in for an emergency appointment with Dr. Hillel Zukor a few weeks ago, and we were both extremely impressed by his professionalism and care. From the moment we arrived, Dr. Zukor was attentive thorough, and took immediate control of the situation, ensuring we felt both informed and reassured. He is truly an outstanding doctor and one of the best in his field. We’re grateful for his expertise and the exceptional care he provided.

Everytime I have an appointment at this clinic, it takes 4 hours of sitting around, and finally seeing the doctor near to the closing time. They need to understand that there is a reason why people book an appointment. Also, patients are also working and they take time out of their professional life to make it to the appointment. I had this experience back to back 3 times. I don’t appreciate this or even expect the same from a private clinic when you pay almost $200 and still waste your time.
