I cannot say enough good things about Bluebird, but come and see for yourself. I feel more "me" after leaving my sessions with Sai than I did when I walked in the door. She is magnificent A+++

I’ve been debating leaving this review for a while, because I almost never leave reviews for anything, ever...but I just can’t shake how badly I was done at Bluebird. I started laser hair removal during the pandemic, which, in hindsight, wasn’t the best move, but I went ahead with it. Bluebird had repeated shutdowns and closures for obvious reasons, so my treatment was constantly interrupted. From the start, I made it clear that I was seeking this service specifically for a persistent skin condition. The hair removal was important, of course, but I was also hoping to see textural improvements in my skin. I paid for numerous sessions in advance, yet to this day I’m not sure I ever got my money’s worth. My skin condition actually seems to have worsened, with new patches where hairs feel “loose” at the follicle but get trapped under the skin. Even comments like “this is a whole lot of work!” were made, admist huffing and puffing, because I’m a larger person and therefore had more surface area to cover...lol. When things finally reopened, I emailed Djuna to request a payment arrangement so that I could complete the service and hopefully achieve a better result. I was met with a flat-out “no,” with zero alternatives offered. Since then, I’ve had an exceptionally sour taste about this place. When I try to think about what could have gone wrong, I remember being late a couple of times, and maybe a little timid...but otherwise, I was a pretty chill client. All the “equity-focused” branding aside (which now feels trite), it’s become painfully obvious that Bluebird only cares about its bottom line. Disappointing!

Fully recommend, no complaints. The staff is amazing, skilled, respectful and they know what they are doing. The space is trans and queer inclusive, which is why i choose it in the first place and i’ve had amazing sessions with Jayne Sweet. I’ve completed four full face diode laser sessions so far and I always feel valued and the prices are worth their amazing services.

I'm a trans-femme person whos not on hormones but feels extreme dysphoria around my facial hair. I've been through 2 other different laser places before this, with a combined 20 individual sessions that did effectively nothing to eliminate my hair. When I started at Blue Bird I was very defeated and skeptical, I have incredibly dense, dark hair and had had so much failed laser I was convinced nothing was going to work. The staff were so lovely, knowledgeable and supportive and I was SHOCKED at how much more effective they were. Its like night and day. I am now COMPLETELY hair free on my face and working on the chest. It may be expensive but experience has shown me its worth it for people who actually know how to service trans-femme clients. Bluebird and their staff have helped me feel better about my face than I ever thought previously possible.

Zoe is wonderful. She makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. Djuna is tremendously skilled, putting her clients at ease. After each app't I always leave feeling valued and more attractive than when I entered. Highly recommend Bluebird Laser Hair Removal! LG
